Wally Ibrahim: career of big projects
Ibrahim first worked at Harper College as an IT analyst and Senior Developer. He then worked as a solutions engineer at ATG, before becoming the principal sales consultant at cloud-technology company the Oracle.
In 2014, Ibrahim co-founded Project44, for which he acted as CTO. Project 44 represents the standard for web-services communication in the freight industry. It provides the pipes that companies within the freight industry use to connect with one another. After a $420 million equity funding boost this month, brought Project 44’s value went up to $2.2. billion.
In 2017, Ibrahim became a board member at Turbadium in 2017. Turbadium connects property owners with investors, using cryptocurrency to tokenize illiquid assets such as real estate.

Since 2017, Ibrahim has been the CTO of Aloi. Aloi is a platform that lets developers create and share business-critical integrations. The name plays off the word ‘alloy’, a metal created by two or more elements that give it greater overall strength. Aloi shares this aim: to allow developers to strengthen their work by streamlining integration with one another.
Aloi allows users to view all their API data in one place, using the GraphQL interface. It partners with large e-commerce companies such as Shopify. In 2021, it turned over $513.9k in revenue.
