Comedian and actor Mo Amer has his hands full. Netflix has greenlit a new special as well as a scripted comedy series. For the series, Amer will team up with fellow actor and comedian Ramy Youssef.

The Netflix special, Mohammed in Texas, will debut November 30th.

Meanwhile, Amer will star in his own scripted comedy series, based loosely on his real life. It will follow the story of a Palestinian refugee seeking citizenship in Houston, TX.

Amer has also recently wrapped filming for the upcoming DC superhero movie, Black Adam, alongside Dwayne Johnson, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, and more.
