Omar Ishrak has been named one of Hayat Life’s Ramadan Top 30 Illuminators for his contributions to innovation and production of ventilators.
Though on the verge of retiring from his CEO position at medical devices giant Medtronic, Omar Ishrak stayed on at the helm to respond to the coronavirus challenge. With the goal of doubling production of life-saving ventilators for critically ill Covid-19 patients, he began a collaboration with Tesla’s Elon Musk.
